The company makes passengers, sedans, and luxury cars. Jaguar Cars was responsible for making Jaguar cars until it merged with Land Rover to form Jaguar Land Rover in January 2013. 

The company began as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, initially making motorcycle sidecars before producing passenger cars. By 1945, it changed to Jaguar Cars and merged with the British Motor Corporation in 1966.
